3 Sebastien Roux Sebastien Roux’s production («Songs » on 12K and with Greg Davis « Paquet surprise ») is always going to be one of my favourite « revelation » for 2005 and 2006...

4 Sink Decomposed, rotting, fading away. “Neverending transformer” is almost orchestral in construction, always keeping an eye on its cinemascopic surroundings for effect.

5 Fraction Encapsulating digital and analogue processes, involving abstract forms within familiar song structures – making for a killer de-construction of squahshed beats and gently mashed and lovingly crafted electronic soundscapes…

6 Akm AKM’s tracks totally destroys me, and even though I've heard it about a thousand times, it still brings a lump to my throat. It's restrained music, somewhat shy, and I think shows a different side to the label.

7 Untitled Just remember – this is music for playing LOUD, stick to this single principle and Gel will mess with your mind, limbs and stomach in ways you’ll have almost forgotten. “Gel” is a gargantuan, banging beast..

8 Aymeric de tapol Using field recordings, guitar, clarinet and other subtle acousmatic phenomena as his starting point, he subtly processes and manipulates this sound matter into startlingly beautiful forms.

9 Mediacomposer Mediacomposer (one of manyThomas’s Projects Wanker’s United, Reuter’n’Belter or with I on Dowo_kun) represented a good couple of years of work on all our parts, going through masses of recorded material really.

10 Poborsk Delving again into the fusionistic realms of the cutting edge tricks of IDM rubbed up against the chopped vocals and beats of hip hop, Poborsk produces a shiny electronica with references like Skam, Schematic & Warp.

11 DoWo_kun Domo_kun is dead.. DoWo-kun it’s for now, with Wanker’s United. Dowo make something of a comeback through a coalition of moody strings and crispy beats.. Dark and rimy without becoming suffocating.

12 Reuter & Belter Marrying cohesive melody presence with complex beat structures, Reuter & Belter construct their material using acoustic and electronic elements.
13 Maeko Echoes of metal pipes clanging against the floor of an immense underground cistern float up from the depths while a thin strand of white smoke melody uncurls overhead.

14 Lodz Piano, laptop, record players … She plays pretty melodies, dark pop, clicks and cuts style but with a more analogue depth, stranger rhythmic forms and the feeling that the whole thing could fall apart at any moment.

15 Bob Woods Based around a central theme of dark and organic theatrical music, ... It’s a vast, glacial drone, noizy bleep, work with some exquisite piano taking over for the ebbing moments.

16 Palac His audio and visual works (frozen elephants, kitty-yo musicproductions) are based on reconstructed fieldrecordings and found sound, manipulated layers and textures.
